I always loved mint chocolate chip ice cream and shakes, however my body didn’t feel the same way. I used to get very frequent ear infections and sinus headaches. This version that I created tastes much better than the original (made with milk) and it is better for you! I love healthy treats and I hope you will too!
4-6 oz spinach
2 T raw honey
4 cup almond milk
2 bunches mint leaves
2 T maple syrup
2 T coconut oil
1 dash Himalayan sea salt
4-6 cups ice
Blend everything except ice in a blender until it is creamy.
Add ice and blend to the consistency of a shake. (If available use a Vita Mix or other type of power blender)
If you are using a food processor, pulse and scrape the sides to ensure you get an even texture.
Serve immediately or freeze. If you are freezing this, cover directly with lid or plastic wrap.
