Health Tip of the Day!
Eat Less and Be Healthier
In the Western culture, many of us overeat either habitually or on occasion. We are programed to eat. We even overindulge in foods that are healthy. There are many people teaching what to eat, and now we can work on how much to eat. If we learn to stop eating when we are three-quarters full, we will be healthier.
To eat less, we must learn to listen to our bodies so that we don’t under eat or overeat. It takes time to learn to tune in every 5 minutes to be aware of what your stomach is telling you. For many us, it is going to take a conscious choice to change the old habit of eating too much. One commitment I can make to be healthier is a determination and the effort it will take to eating less.
