I love to make my own almond milk because I know it doesn’t have all those extra ingredients like guar gum, sweeteners or soy lecithin that they put in the store bought version. I love pure, healthy treats. I hope you will too! This one is also more cost effective than using the store bought version.
1/2 – 1 cup raw almonds, soaked in pure water overnight. (depending upon how thick you want it)
1 dash of Himalayan sea salt
1-3 tsp raw honey to taste
1 blender, full pure water
Blend all ingredients together in blender until it is creamy.
I leave in the tiny bits of almond, but you can also strain them out.
If possible, use a Vita Mix or other type of power blender.
If you are using a food processor, pulse and scrape the side to ensure an even texture.
Serve immediately or cover with a lid or plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator
